The SNAP Employment & Training program provides case management to participants so that they can increase their job readiness and workforce development possibilities. Individuals that are receiving SNAP services may be eligible to receive additional assistance by working with a SNAP E&T Career Specialist to gain employment and training skills.
In addition to case management, the SNAP E&T program provides:

- Title I Workforce Development
- Youth CAN

How to Apply
An applicant is referred to the SNAP Employment and Training Program by the Department of Human Services (DHS) either as a mandatory or voluntary participant, once you have been determined eligible for SNAP benefits. In addition to this, reverse referrals can be requested by a SNAP E&T Career Specialist by clicking the “Request Services” tab. You may apply for benefits at your local Department of Human Services county office or by applying online.
